AREAS OF USE
It can be used safely for leveling of alums with an irregular surface before the bonding of ceramic, marble, natural stone, parquet, carpet, and PVC coatings at the residences, on floors of industrial plants, at hospitals, shops, schools, hotels, stores, and interior spaces.
BENEFITS
It is easy to prepare and apply. It spreads on its own, and is weighable. It gives proper working time. It does not lead to drift at vertical applications. It has high adhesion properties. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling. It can be pumped.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before starting the application process, the surface should be free from foreign materials and slightly wetted. The application surface should be saturated with water several hours in advance. No free water should remain on the surface during application. 25 kg of EKOKAT SELFLEVEL-M leveling alum is slowly poured into 7-7.5 liters of clean water and is then mixed with a low speed mixer or a trowel until a homogenous mixture is obtained. The homogenous mortar is allowed to rest for 5 minutes and mixed again for 1 minute again before application.
WARNING : Continuous application is required in order to obtain a smooth and uniform surface coating. Depending on the size of the application area, more than one mixture should be prepared and poured onto the application floor in succession to achieve a surface integrity. The mortar is spread to the surface at the desired thickness with the help of a trowel. The screed spreads properly on its own. No water should be added during the process of setting. The air bubbles forming on the surface should be removed with a hedgehog roll. Do not apply above 35 ° C or below + 5 ° C. No application should be made at areas with a low humidity, or at areas that are exposed to direct sun and wind effects.
