DESCRIPTION

The product is an acrylic emulsion-based, high performance, silicone added, and a line textured plaster with ready-for-use colors, which can be used at both interior and exterior areas, and which covers plaster defects on the surface with patterns and a thickness achieved through use of the product.

It conforms to TS 7847 Standard.

PROPERTIES

It covers plaster defects on the surface with patterns and a thickness achieved through use of the product. Thanks to its vapor permeability, it allows buildings to breathe. It is not affected by heavy weather conditions. It does not bluff, crack, and color change. It is a water-based product so it does not harm the environment and human health.

AREAS OF USE

It is used as a final coat decorative plaster with ready-for-use colors at exteriors of buildings as well as in exterior thermal insulation (sheathing) systems.

It is easy to prepare and apply. It is ready for use. It provides high adherence to concrete and plastered surfaces. It is resistant to water and frost. It is not affected by temperature differences.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Dust, swollen coats, dirt, oil, etc. present at application areas must be cleaned from the surface. Surfaces with old paints and synthetic surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly. If application is to be made on new mineral surfaces, the surface should be cured for at least 28 days. If necessary, surfaces should be repaired with EKOKAT REPAIR-PASTE. The surfaces to be painted should be primed with EKOKAT PRIMER EXT-S. It is recommended that the primer to be used be of the same color as the selected interior wall paint. EKOKAT DEKOACRYL – LM should be mixed thoroughly before application. It should be applied to the surface in equal thickness with a trowel or a plastic trowel. Application thickness should be adjusted based on the biggest pattern stones. Circular motions performed with a steel trowel or a plastic trowel would give the desired pattern. Application thickness should be adjusted based on the biggest pattern stones. No application should be made on wet and damp surfaces. The ambient temperature and the temperature of the application surface should be at least +5^oC during the application as well as for at least 24 hours thereafter, and the surface should not receive any rainfall. It should not be applied in very hot weather, in direct sunlight, or when strong winds or rainfalls are expected. For applications on wide surfaces, paper tapes should be used to avoid the presence of traces of joints during breaks, or the surface must be finished before application is interrupted. Application tools should be washed with water immediately after use.

PACKAGING

25 kg plastic buckets.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than three buckets should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
