DESCRIPTION

The product is a micro polypropylene fiber-based, high quality concrete and mortar additive that is used to reduce shrinkage cracks in fresh concrete.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

AREAS OF USE

It is used in concrete and mortar elements that are exposed to impact loads, in items of coating concrete, in prefabricated concrete elements, for production of spraying concrete items of wet and dry systems, at parking lots, in concrete elements of airport aprons, and in plasters and mortars.

BENEFITS

It enhances concrete’s resistance to impact loads, and reduces shrinkage cracks in concrete. It enhances concrete’s wear resistance, improves the bending strength of concrete slabs, and improves concrete’s freeze-thaw resistance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

EKOKAT CONCRETE FBR is added to the half of the mixing water and allowed to disperse in the water, and then other concrete additives are added to the mixture together with the remaining water. It is recommended to add it to the concrete mixture directly at concrete plants. If it is to be added to the fresh concrete at the site, then the mixing time is increased by 5 minutes to ensure the homogeneity of the fibers.

* Necessary precautions should be taken to prevent the loss of temperature and humidity of the concrete. Concrete should be protected until it reaches a strength of 4-5 N / mm.

In 30 x 1000 g packages in a 30 kg box

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than two parcels should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is three years months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. It should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. 

WARNING : Concrete admixtures should be added directly to the dry mix.
