Adhesive Mortar for Granite and Natural Stone
DESCRIPTION
The product is a cement-based, high performance, single-component adhesive mortar with reduced slippage and extended work time properties, and is used for granite and natural stone.
It conforms to TS EN 12004 and C2TE standards.

AREAS OF USE
The product is used for ceramic-over-ceramic applications performed at thermal pools where sudden thermal changes occur, at hot springs, at wet areas such as turkish baths, for terrace and garden arrangements, for ceramic, marble, granite, and natural stone coatings of floors and walls, and at places which experience heavy pedestrian and load traffic.
BENEFITS
It is resistant to water and frost. It adheres well to the edges of ceramics. It shows no cracking, no fouling, or no stain. It is hygienic and can be colored. It is easy to prepare and apply. It does not lead to drift at vertical applications. It has high adhesion properties.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Residues that will prevent adhesion on the surface should be cleaned. 25 kg EKOKAT GRASTONE ADH adhesive is slowly poured into 6-7 liters of water and is then mixed with a low speed (400-600 rpm) mixer. The homogenous mortar is allowed to rest for 5 to 10 minutes and then mixed again once before application. The mixture should be used in one hour. The mortar should be notched with a notched trowel suitable for the tile dimensions. Ceramics should be glued to the notched mortar in 20 minutes. The mortar should not be used if its usage time has expired and it has been scabbed. The mortar should be applied at the specified application temperature, and protected from direct sun, wind and frost. Joint application should be done 24 hours later on the wall and 48 hours later on the floor.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.
SAFETY MEASURES
Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles, and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
