PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

It is a cement based, fast setting water blocking material that contains special additives.

AREAS OF USE

It is used to block water flowing with or without pressure through holes and cracks in concrete pipes in case of occurrence of water leakages at basements, foundations, swimming pools, water tanks, tunnels, walls, ceilings, and floors. 

BENEFITS

It is easy to prepare and apply. It does not flow in vertical and horizontal applications. It has high adhesion properties. It has freeze-thaw cycle.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The surface should be cleaned from foreign materials and soaked before starting the insulation process. Gloves must be used during the application of ECOKAT AQUA WP - STOP. Since it has a fast setting time, it should be prepared in small quantities. The mortar should be prepared in the dough consistency with a sufficient amount of water in a clean vessel, and kneaded manually. As the kneaded mortar starts to set, it is pressed well into the hole in a single act. The surface should be smoothened with a trowel after a few minutes.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than six buckets or 10 jars should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
