GROUT - EPO 2C

DESCRIPTION

The product is an epoxy resin-based, double component repair, anchorage and installation mortar.

AREAS OF USE

It is used for the installation of all kinds of ironstones, for the placement of anchorage elements, for the repair and insulation of concrete cracks, for the insulation of cracks during crack injection process, for the performance of all kinds of structural concrete repair works, and for the assembly and bonding of all kinds of metal parts or steel parts.

It is easy to prepare and apply. It is ready for use. It provides high adherence to concrete, steel, metal, and plastered surfaces. It is resistant to water and frost. It is not impacted from thermal differences. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Dust, swollen layers, dirt, oil, etc. should be cleaned from cement-based concrete, screed, and plaster surfaces. Metal surfaces must be completely free of rust and dirt. EKOKAT GROUT - EPO 2C is packed as two components in appropriate quantities. The two components should be mixed for at least 3 minutes with a low speed mixer until a homogenous mixture is obtained. Mixing ratios: EKOKAT GROUT EPO 2C, Component A: 3,75 kg (resin) - EKOKAT GROUT EPO 2C, component B: 1,25 kg (hardener). EKOKAT GROUT - EPO 2C can be applied to the surface with a trowel or a spatula. The holes present in ironstones should be thoroughly cleaned with air, and the holes to be opened should be 6mm wider from the outfits to be installed. The mixture can be easily applied with a mortar gun.

NOTE: The working and curing times of epoxy resin-based products depend on the ambient and ground temperature. The most appropriate ambient temperature is between + 10 ° C and + 20 ° C. The mixing process must be done with a mixer. After application, tools and equipment should be cleaned with detergent and hot water. EKOKAT GROUT - EPO 2C can be removed from the surface mechanically after it is hardened.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
