DESCRIPTION

The product is a cement-based, fast hardening, high performance, and fast setting adhesive  mortar with special chemical additives enhancing product performance, which is used for bonding of ceramic tiles, granite, marble, and natural stones.

It conforms to TS EN 12004 and C2F standards.

C2: Cement-based, High Performance Properties, F: Fast Setting.

*   The above values are valid for + 23oC and 50% relative humidity. The time is shortened at high temperatures and extended at low temperatures.

*    If the temperature of the application surface is above +25 ° C, then the surface should be moistened.

AREAS OF USE

The product is used to apply ceramic, granite ceramic, granite, marble, and natural stone  materials on concrete surfaces horizontally at interior and exterior spaces where fast application is needed. It is also used on balconies, terraces, and wet spaces.

It is easy to prepare and apply. It sets fast. It has high adhesion strength. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is sound, dry, dust-free, and clean. Residues that will prevent adhesion on the surface should be cleaned. 25 kg of EKOKAT RAPID ADH is slowly poured into 6-7 liters of water and is then mixed with a low speed (400-600 rpm) mixer. The lump-free and homogenous mortar should be used in 10 minutes. The mortar should be notched with a notched trowel suitable for the tile dimensions. The mortar should not be used if its usage time has expired and it has been scabbed. The mortar should be applied at the specified application temperature, and protected from direct sun, wind and frost. Joint application can start three hours later.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles, and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
