Primer with Silicon for Interior Walls
DESCRIPTION
The product is an acrylic emulsion-based, matt, pigmented primer material containing silicon additives, which can be applied under all water-based interior paint and coating materials.
PROPERTIES
It reduces the consumption amount of the paint and coating material on which application is to be made, by decreasing the absorbency of the surface. It ensures that the materials to be applied are fully adsorbed to the surfaces. It is solvent free.

AREAS OF USE
It is applied on appropriately prepared mineral surfaces such as black plaster, concrete, or cement board at interior and exterior spaces of all buildings, and is also applied on old painted surfaces.
BENEFITS
It is easy to prepare and apply. It is ready for use. It provides high adherence on concrete and plaster-applied surfaces. It is resistant to water and frost. It is not impacted from thermal differences.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dust, swollen coats, dirt, oil, etc. present on application surfaces must be cleaned from the surface. Surfaces with old paints and synthetic surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly. If application is to be made on new mineral surfaces, the surface should be cured for at least 28 days. If necessary, the surfaces should be repaired with EKOKAT REPAIR-PASTE. EKOKAT PRIMER INTO - S should be mixed thoroughly before application. EKOKAT PRIMER INTO - S should be diluted with 20% by volume of water and mixed well until it becomes homogenous. It should be applied as a single coat by means of a brush, a roll, or a spraying system. A rest time of at least 6 hours should be allowed to lapse between coats for the application of the final coat of paint and coating material. During the application and for at least 24 hours thereafter, the ambient temperature and the temperature of application surface should be minimum +5 ° C. Application tools should be washed with water immediately after use.
PACKAGING
20 kg plastic buckets.
STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
No more than three buckets should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.
SAFETY MEASURES
Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles, and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
