AREAS OF USE

Polystyrene is applied on surfaces requiring elastic ability at interior and exterior applications of all buildings constructed from polystyrene hard foam (EPS, XPS) where Rockwool insulation sheets are applied.

BENEFITS

It is easy to prepare and apply. It gives proper working time. It does not lead to drift at vertical applications. It has high adhesion properties. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The thermal insulation sheets to be plastered should be sound, well adhered to the underlying surface, and be clean and dry. The gaps between the plates should be filled with the same insulation material or foam.

25 kg of EKOKAT PERTHERM PLR is slowly poured onto 6-6.5 liters (e.g. 24-26%) of clean water and is then mixed with a low speed mixer or a trowel until a homogenous mixture is obtained. It is allowed to rest for 5 to 10 minutes and mixed again for 1 to 2 minutes. It is applied onto the plaster surface with a minimum thickness of 2 mm, and the plaster mesh is placed such that it would overlap by at least 10 cm.

At the corners as well as at all girder, window, and door frames the plaster mesh should be rotated for at least 20 cm, and the corner profiles should then be placed. After the first coat is dried, the second coat is applied. The prepared mortar should be consumed within 2-3 hours. Do not apply above 35 ° C or below + 5 ° C. It should not be applied under very humid and / or hot weather conditions, or onto such surfaces that are being melted or are subject to the danger of frost within 24 hours.

PACKAGING
