AREAS OF USE

It is used for bonding heat insulation sheets on interior and exterior walls (e.g. gross concrete, brick, cement-based plaster, and gas concrete) in buildings.

BENEFITS

It is easy to prepare and apply. It gives proper working time. It does not lead to drift at vertical applications. It has high adhesion properties. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before starting the application process, the surface should be free from foreign materials and slightly wetted. 25 kg of EKOKAT PERTHERM ADH should be mixed with 5.5-6.0 liters (e.g. 22-24%) of clean water with the help of a low revolving mixer or a trowel until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The mixture should be allowed to rest for 5-10 minutes and then mixed for another 1-2 minutes. The prepared mortar should be consumed within 2 hours. The prepared mortar should be applied with a width of at least 5 cm in the form of lumps in the middle such that it would surround the insulation plate. The heat insulation sheets are laid out from top to bottom. After the adhesive has dried, the dowels are placed in the center of the panel and all joints. No space should be left between the sheets to the extent possible, and the fine spaces should be filled with a heat insulation tape or foam. Adhesion process should be completed within 20 to 25 minutes. Do not apply above 35 ° C or below + 5 ° C. The plaster should be applied on the bonded insulation sheets after 2 days. These values are valid for a surface and ambient temperature of 20oC. The time is shortened at high temperatures and extended at low temperatures.
