DESCRIPTION

The product is a cement-based, silicon- and micro fiber- reinforced decorative mineral exterior coating material with high strength, special additives, and thick texture.

It has high water vapor permeability. It allows buildings to breathe. It is resistant to external influences thanks to its content of special additives. It has water impermeability. It has a natural and decorative appearance. It is easy to apply. It can be painted with exterior surface paints.

AREAS OF USE

It is used as a final coat material on cement-based plasters, on exterior surfaces, and in exterior thermal insulation systems of all the buildings.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Dust, swollen coats, dirt, oil, etc. present at application areas must be cleaned from the surface. The surface should be clean, smooth, and sound. Before the application, the surface must be moistened and saturated with water under very hot and windy weather conditions. 25 kg EKOKAT PLASTER DECO-3M should be mixed with 6-6.5 liters of clean water on average with the help of a low revolving mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The mortar should be allowed to rest for 5 minutes before proceeding with the application and then mixed again. Before the application, the surface must be moistened and saturated with water under very hot and windy weather conditions. EKOKAT PLASTER DECO-3M should be spread on the surface with equal thickness with a stainless steel trowel, and the application thickness must be adjusted to the largest pattern stone A pattern should be given to the surface in circular movements with a plastic trowel. Patterns should be applied always when the mortar is wet. It may not be left on the face as a final coat material. Paint must be applied on top of it after drying. The recommended water ratio and rest times should be observed while preparing the mortar. Avoid from applying it under direct sunlight. Pre-prepared but hardened materials should not be included in newly prepared mortar.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
