Highly Flexible Adhesive Mortar for Granite and Ceramic

DESCRIPTION

The product is a cement-based, double component, high performance, highly flexible adhesive mortar used for granite and ceramic materials, which contains properties of reduced slippage as well as extended rest time under exposed conditions, and also contains mineral aggregates of a special particle size, and special chemical additives enhancing product performance.

It conforms TS EN 12004, C2TE S2 standards.

*    The above values ​​are valid for + 23oC and 50% relative humidity. The time is shortened at high temperatures and extended at low temperatures.

*    If the temperature of the application surface is above +25 ° C, then the surface should be moistened.

AREAS OF USE

The product is used for ceramic-over-ceramic applications performed at thermal pools where sudden thermal changes occur, at hot springs, at wet areas such as turkish baths, for terrace and garden arrangements, for ceramic, marble, granite, and natural stone coatings of floors and walls, and at places which experience heavy pedestrian and load traffic.

It is easy to prepare and apply. It sets fast. It has high adhesion strength. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is sound, dry, dust-free, and clean. Residues that will prevent adhesion on the surface should be cleaned. 25 kg of EKOKAT FLEX - S2 ADH is slowly poured into 7 kilograms of liquid component, and mixed with the help of a low revolving mixer or a trowel until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The mortar should be allowed to rest for 5 minutes and then mixed for one minute. The mortar should be notched with a notched trowel suitable for dimensions of the material used. The affixing process should be performed within 20 to 25 minutes. The mortar should not be used if its usage time has expired and it has been scabbed. Do not apply above 35 ° C or below + 5 ° C.

25 kg PE reinforced craft bags.
64 shrink bags on one palette (110x110 cm).
7 kg plastic jerrycans.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE

No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

SAFETY MEASURES

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles, and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. It should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
