PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The product is an elastomeric resin-based, single component, ready-to-use, super elastic waterproofing material with UV resistance, which is applied on terraces, precasts, roofs, eaves, chimney flashings, gutters, and exterior façades.

AREAS OF USE
It is used for insulation of inclined roofs and terraces that are coated with concrete, plaster cement, plate, galvanize, zinc, aluminum, pvc, or polyester, and the product is also used for waterproofing of exterior façades of buildings.
BENEFITS
It is ready for use, can be applied easily with a brush and a roll, is super elastic, has excellent water vapor permeability, is U.V resistant and paintable. It is resistant to freeze-thaw cycling.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The surfaces to be applied should be sound, a free from mold oil, dirt, paint, cement slurry, and etc. which would reduce the adherence. It is applied as a primer on the surface before application, and diluted at the ratio of 4/1. The 2nd coat should be applied without mixing the product with water. EKOKAT AQUA WP - EL UV should be mixed thoroughly before starting the application. Apply 3 coats horizontally and 2 coats vertically with a brush or a roll. Wait for 4 hours between coats depending on the temperature (20 oC).
The cracks, joints, corners, and edges should be supported by a suitable waterproofing tape of 160 g after the application of the first coat. Application surfaces should be protected from rain and frost for the first 24 hours. Precautions must be taken for surfaces that need to be walked on. The product is not applied to wet and moist surfaces. Protect the product from frost.
WARNING
EKOKAT AQUA WP - EL UV is not suitable for basic insulation of water tanks or swimming pools.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
No more than three buckets should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.. Protect from sun and frost.
SAFETY MEASURES
Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
