AREAS OF USE

The product is used for the leveling of reinforced concrete surfaces at depots, car parks, and industrial areas that require a high level of strength.

BENEFITS

It can be applied at thicknesses of 5 to 15 mm. It is abrasion resistant. The resistance against heavy industrial loads is high. It has a single component. It is easy to apply, and ready for use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Application surfaces should be dry and solid. Dust, swollen coats, dirt, oil, etc. present at application areas must be cleaned from the surface. Application surfaces should be clean and dust free. If application is to be made on new mineral surfaces, then the surface should be cured for at least 28 days. If necessary, the surfaces should be repaired with EKOKAT REPAIR- TNK fine repair mortar. EKOKAT PRIMER FLR-A is thoroughly mixed before application. It is applied equally to the surface with a brush or through spraying. After drying on the primer layer, it is proceeded with the other application. 25 kg of EKOKAT LEVEL FLR-M leveling screed is slowly poured into 7-7.5 liters of clean water and mixed with a low speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After resting for 5 minutes, it is stirred again for 1 minute and the leveling screed is ready for use.

WARNING: Do not apply at temperatures below + 5 ° C or where the temperature is expected to fall below + 5 ° C within 24 hours following the application. Do not apply to wet and frozen surfaces. Continuous application is required in order to obtain a smooth and uniform surface coating. Depending on the size of the application area, more than one mixture should be prepared and poured onto the application floor in succession to achieve a surface integrity. The mortar is spread to the surface at the desired thickness with the help of a trowel. The air bubbles forming on the surface should be removed with a hedgehog roll.
